About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team remotely from Camden, New Jersey. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise network solutions across multiple locations, including cloud environments and hybrid infrastructures. Your expertise will help modernize our network architecture, improve security protocols, and ensure optimal network performance and high availability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud connectivity with Azure, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and telephony systems. Additionally, you will lead initiatives related to network security, support merger and acquisition activities such as network carve-outs and integrations, and contribute to the organization’s operational resilience. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing opportunities to influence the company’s network infrastructure in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Qualifications
8+ years of enterprise networking experience, with proven expertise as a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer
Deep hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing and switching, and cloud networking (Azure)
Experience supporting hybrid and multi-site environments, including network carve-outs and M&A activities
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Relevant certifications such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Azure Networking (preferred but not mandatory)
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions across multiple locations and cloud environments
Modernize existing network architecture to enhance security, scalability, and performance
Support and optimize cloud connectivity, including Azure integrations
Manage and configure LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and telephony systems to ensure high availability
Lead network security initiatives, including firewall management and threat mitigation
Support network carve-outs, mergers, and acquisitions activities, ensuring seamless integration and transition
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate technical solutions effectively
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements proactively
