About The Role
The Junior Technical Business Analyst at Inadev plays a vital role in supporting the full systems development lifecycle within data-driven environments. This position involves eliciting, analyzing, and translating complex business and technical requirements into high-quality Agile artifacts. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure backlog readiness, maintain quality standards, and align project deliverables with organizational and mission objectives. Additionally, the role involves supporting business intelligence initiatives, resolving production issues, and contributing to continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related technical discipline
Minimum of 2 years of business analysis experience supporting federal government software or application development programs
At least 2 years of experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
Proficiency in JIRA for requirements management and backlog grooming
Strong client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and stakeholder communication
Ability to create accurate time estimates for tasks and deliverables
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
Support the entire systems development lifecycle, including requirements elicitation, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of information systems and business processes
Act as a subject-matter expert on business requirements, user needs, system functionality, and business value, advising Product Owners and stakeholders accordingly
Elicit, document, and prioritize requirements using effective analytical and communication techniques to ensure clarity and relevance
Translate business goals and user needs into well-defined epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile artifacts
Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, testers, and project leaders to ensure backlog readiness and alignment with project vision
Support business intelligence initiatives by defining requirements for reports, dashboards, and source systems to facilitate decision-making
Participate in strategic planning, evaluate workflows and organizational processes, and recommend improvements for efficiency
Ensure requirements meet the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, validating acceptance criteria and addressing edge cases prior to development
Monitor production issues and serve as an incident coordinator, collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues within service-level agreements
Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill Office of Information Technology (OIT) requests and ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables
Contribute to recurring program reporting and deliverables, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates
Provide training and guidance on system functionalities, expected behaviors, and defect identification to stakeholders and team members
