About The Role
As our Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to own and shape all engineering functions at Aonic. Your primary responsibility will be to build and launch the Aonic Club membership MVP on our existing Shopify and Recharge platform, targeting a go-live date of October 1st. Post-launch, you will oversee the development of our consumer mobile app, internal agents, and operational tools, ensuring seamless integration and performance. This role is designed for an engineer who has already shipped consumer-facing products and seeks maximum ownership and impact. You will be instrumental in building scalable architecture, selecting appropriate technology stacks, ensuring security and compliance, and continuously improving our systems. Your work will directly influence the company's growth trajectory and operational efficiency, making this a highly demanding and rewarding position.
Qualifications
Proven experience shipping a consumer product as an engineer, with real customer usage.
Full-stack development expertise in production environments, especially with TypeScript/React, Node.js, and Python.
Track record of delivering reliable, high-quality code, integrating AI tools and automation.
Degree from a top-tier university in engineering, science, math, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong entrepreneurial drive, ambitious mindset, and eagerness for responsibility and growth.
Excellent work ethic, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain the Aonic Club web application on Shopify + Recharge, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvements post-launch.
Monitor and optimize site performance, page speed, and third-party script behavior, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations such as CPRA.
Design and oversee system architecture, including stack choices, security protocols, vendor relationships, and database management.
Lead the development of our React Native consumer app, focusing on iOS first, to foster community engagement.
Develop and deploy AI-powered agents and internal tools that operate autonomously, with monitoring and human-in-the-loop oversight where necessary.
Leverage AI, automation, and low-code platforms to enhance operational speed and quality, reducing manual effort through scripts and workflows.
Collaborate on special projects directly with the CEO, addressing high-priority issues and making strategic product and infrastructure decisions.
