Role Description The Global Vice President of Finance is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations across Walk On Ventures and its portfolio initiatives. This role will lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. The Global VP of Finance will own financial reporting and the preparation, consolidation, and interpretation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing financial strategies, setting key performance indicators, monitoring financial performance, and providing data-driven insights to founders and executive teams. The role will also guide capital allocation, support fundraising and investment decisions, collaborate closely with advisory and venture teams, and implement scalable financial processes and systems suitable for fast-moving, high-growth environments.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management.
Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with experience in consolidations, compliance, and stakeholder-ready reporting.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, model scenarios, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Extensive experience in senior or executive finance roles within growth-stage, technology, insurtech, or venture-backed companies.
Demonstrated ability to build and scale finance functions, processes, and systems in global or multi-entity environments.
Proven track record partnering with founders and executive teams on capital events, investments, and enterprise value creation.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a remote-first setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is beneficial.
