Role Description
The Vice President Information Technology is a full-time remote role responsible for leading WOV’s technology vision and execution across internal operations and client-facing initiatives. This position oversees IT strategy, architecture, and roadmaps to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient systems that support performance marketing, insurtech, and agentic AI solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT operations, managing enterprise applications and infrastructure, governing data and information security, and aligning technology investments with business priorities. The role leads cross-functional technology projects, coordinates with advisory and venture teams, and evaluates emerging technologies that can drive growth and operating leverage. The Vice President Information Technology also builds and mentors IT teams, establishes standards and policies, and ensures reliable, compliant technology environments for WOV and its portfolio companies.
Qualifications
Broad Information Technology expertise across infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, and security.
Demonstrated IT Management experience, including leading teams, vendors, budgets, and complex technology environments.
Proven ability to define and execute IT Strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports scalable growth.
Strong Project Management skills for planning, prioritizing, and delivering cross-functional technology initiatives.
Strategic Planning capabilities to translate business needs into long-term technology roadmaps and investment plans.
Experience with performance marketing, insurtech, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions is highly beneficial.
Background in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments such as startups, scale-ups, or advisory/consulting firms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at the executive level.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, cloud certifications) are a plus.
