Role Description The Executive Vice President at Orcas Capital will provide strategic leadership and oversight across OCASUR’s operations, ensuring that services align with regulatory standards, client expectations, and organizational growth objectives. This full-time remote role includes setting long-term strategy, driving business development, strengthening key client relationships, and expanding the organization’s presence in existing and new markets. The Executive Vice President will collaborate closely with senior leaders to define performance goals, oversee budgets, and ensure adherence to quality and compliance frameworks. Daily responsibilities include guiding cross-functional teams, reviewing operational metrics, identifying process improvements, and making data-informed decisions that reinforce independence, integrity, and service excellence. The role also involves representing Orcas Capital in high-level external meetings, industry forums, and partner discussions, while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture within the organization.

Qualifications
Proven executive leadership experience in financial services, compliance, inspection, or a closely related regulated industry.
Strong strategic planning and business development skills, including market analysis, growth planning, and partnership management.
Expertise in governance, risk management, and quality assurance frameworks; familiarity with accreditation or certification standards is highly beneficial.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse, remote teams, promote accountability, and cultivate an inclusive, collaborative culture.
Advanced analytical and decision-making abilities, including experience working with financial, operational, and performance metrics.
High ethical standards and a track record of integrity, transparency, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Spanish, are beneficial for collaboration with OCASUR stakeholders.
