Role Description The Project Management Vice President is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading strategic programs and projects across Orcas Capital. This position oversees project portfolios, defines project governance frameworks, and ensures alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include directing cross-functional project teams, setting priorities and timelines, managing budgets and resources, and monitoring project performance through KPIs and dashboards. The role also involves managing risks and dependencies, resolving escalations, and driving continuous improvement in project and program management practices. The Project Management Vice President collaborates closely with executive leadership to support decision-making, communicate progress, and foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Qualifications
Strong Project Management experience, including leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects and overseeing project planning and execution.
Demonstrated Program Management capabilities to manage portfolios, coordinate multiple related initiatives, and ensure strategic alignment.
Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight, including cost forecasting, resource allocation, and variance analysis.
Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, evaluating project performance, managing risks, and supporting evidence-based decisions.
Expertise in Project Planning tools and methodologies (e.g., Gantt charts, critical path, Agile or hybrid frameworks).
Proven leadership experience at a senior level, with the ability to guide remote teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to executive and technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) or relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2) are highly beneficial.
Experience in regulated, quality-driven environments and familiarity with international standards or compliance frameworks is a plus.
