About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our high-impact team responsible for leading RBC’s call centre and branch technology transformation. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing intelligent, conversational systems and full-stack applications that enhance client engagement across web and mobile platforms. Your expertise will help power innovative technology solutions, drive growth, and improve overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for building secure, well-tested, and scalable digital solutions, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple initiatives, and contribute to ongoing enterprise projects, ensuring seamless integration into RBC’s operational procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of software development experience, including cloud services, microservices, and data analysis
Hands-on experience with API integration and cloud-based services
Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
Server-side development experience with Node.js, Java, or Python
Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT and OpenAI, conversational design best practices, NLP for unstructured data mining, incident handling, and observability techniques.
Responsibilities
Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent projects with varying complexities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to plans
Monitor project activities, identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks; analyze and escalate as necessary
Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including communication strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and integration into existing processes
Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and key stakeholders to influence project success
Contribute to administrative activities related to program management and process improvements
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications with a focus on user experience
Integrate conversational AI components, including LLMs, into customer-facing systems
Implement automated testing and deployment pipelines to ensure high-quality software releases
Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and system observability practices to maintain system reliability
