About Gyanis Flow
Gyanis Flow is an AI-powered learning platform that brings together learning assistance, practice, revision, study planning, assessments, and progress tracking.
Through features such as AI chat, Drills, Mindmaps, Gameplan, Arena, and Pulse, we aim to help students understand concepts, practise effectively, and identify what to learn next.
We are looking for an educator who can help ensure that Flow’s curriculum structure, learning content, and student journeys are academically accurate, age-appropriate, and educationally useful.
About the role
As our Curriculum & Learning Experience Specialist, you will work with the founder, product team, and engineering team to improve how Flow supports teaching and learning.
You will review our curriculum taxonomy—the structure connecting boards, grades, subjects, chapters, topics, and learning outcomes—and test how that structure translates into the student experience.
This is a hands-on role combining curriculum mapping, academic quality review, assessment design, and educational product testing. You will regularly use Flow as both a student and a teacher, identify problems, and turn your findings into clear recommendations.
Roles and responsibilities1. Curriculum mapping and taxonomy validation
Review curriculum structures against official syllabuses and relevant academic standards.
Validate board, grade, subject, chapter, topic, and learning-outcome mappings.
Identify missing topics, duplicates, inconsistent naming, outdated material, and incorrectly placed concepts.
Recommend appropriate topic depth and granularity for learning, practice, and progress tracking.
Map prerequisites and relationships between concepts.
Document curriculum sources, academic-year applicability, and proposed changes.
Identify where different boards share concepts and where their requirements differ.
2. Learning outcomes and progression
Define clear, measurable learning outcomes for priority topics.
Recommend learning sequences based on prerequisite knowledge and conceptual difficulty.
Identify common misconceptions and likely learning gaps.
Review whether learning activities suit the student’s grade, prior knowledge, and intended outcome.
Recommend suitable support for students who need foundational explanations, additional practice, or greater challenge.
Review study plans for realistic workload, topic order, and revision needs.
3. AI-generated content and teaching quality
Evaluate AI-generated explanations, worked examples, summaries, questions, answers, and mind maps.
Check factual accuracy, reasoning, clarity, curriculum alignment, and age appropriateness.
Identify misleading explanations, unsupported claims, ambiguous language, and incorrect solutions.
Assess whether explanations help students understand a concept and apply it independently.
Create review rubrics and examples of acceptable educational output.
Work with the product and engineering teams to improve recurring quality issues.
Escalate content outside your expertise for review by an appropriate subject specialist.
4. Assessment and practice quality
Review practice questions and mock assessments for syllabus coverage and learning-outcome alignment.
Validate answer keys, worked solutions, scoring guidance, and feedback.
Check question wording, difficulty, distractor quality, and the balance between recall, application, and reasoning.
Identify repeated, ambiguous, incorrectly tagged, or educationally weak questions.
Recommend assessment structures and coverage for priority subjects and examinations.
Review whether feedback helps students understand mistakes and choose an appropriate next step.
5. Educational product testing
Test complete student and teacher journeys across Flow.
Create realistic scenarios for learners with different levels of understanding and study needs.
Evaluate how AI chat, Drills, Mindmaps, Gameplan, Arena, and Pulse work together.
Check that selected curriculum context is reflected correctly in learning content and activities.
Identify confusing instructions, unsuitable recommendations, missing learning steps, and misleading progress interpretations.
Document issues with reproduction steps, expected behavior, actual behavior, educational impact, and supporting examples.
Retest resolved issues and provide academic acceptance feedback.
6. Teacher and student feedback
Support structured feedback sessions with teachers and, where appropriately arranged, students.
Observe where learners struggle to understand content or complete an activity.
Translate feedback into specific curriculum, content, and product improvements.
Help create examples and guidance that support effective use of Flow.
Distinguish individual preferences from recurring learning problems.
7. Academic standards and team collaboration
Maintain practical academic review checklists and quality standards.
Prioritize issues according to their impact on learning and correctness.
Communicate recommendations clearly to colleagues without teaching backgrounds.
Collaborate with subject specialists as curriculum coverage expands.
Maintain a record of reviewed material, unresolved concerns, and accepted corrections.
Contribute academic input to feature development and release reviews.
Expected deliverables
Validated curriculum maps for agreed boards, grades, and subjects.
A prioritized taxonomy correction and improvement register.
Learning outcomes and prerequisite recommendations for priority topics.
Academic quality rubrics for explanations, practice questions, and assessments.
Documented student and teacher test scenarios.
Actionable issue reports and verification of completed fixes.
A regular summary of academic quality findings, recurring issues, and recommended next steps.
