Role Description The Vice President Information Technology will lead the overall technology vision, strategy, and execution for Walk On Ventures in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This full-time remote role is responsible for overseeing IT operations, infrastructure, security, and enterprise applications to support both internal teams and client-facing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing IT roadmaps, aligning technology investments with business goals, and managing cross-functional projects that enable performance marketing, insurtech, and agentic AI solutions. The role will supervise IT vendors and partners, establish governance and risk management practices, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Vice President Information Technology will collaborate closely with leadership and project teams to design scalable systems, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement across the technology stack.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including infrastructure, security, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
Demonstrated experience in IT Management, leading distributed teams, managing vendors, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Proven ability in IT Strategy and Strategic Planning to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and growth priorities.
Advanced Project Management skills to deliver complex, cross-functional technology projects on time and within budget.
Experience supporting technology in data-driven, digital-first environments such as performance marketing, insurtech, or AI-enabled platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with executive stakeholders, clients, and remote teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, cloud certifications) are a plus.
Track record of driving innovation, implementing governance and risk management practices, and enabling secure, reliable remote work environments.
