Chief Information Officer

Role Description The Vice President of Technology at PyMio is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the company’s overall technology vision and strategy. This role oversees technology operations, architecture, and security, ensuring platforms and systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring cross-functional technology teams, prioritizing and managing strategic initiatives and projects, and collaborating with executive stakeholders on product and organizational roadmaps. The Vice President of Technology will also establish best practices for software development and infrastructure, manage vendor and partner relationships, and continuously evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. This role is accountable for setting measurable goals, tracking performance, and ensuring that technology investments deliver value to customers and the organization.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, assess risks, and make evidence-based technology and business decisions.
Deep expertise in Information Technology, including systems architecture, infrastructure, security, and cloud-based solutions.
Demonstrated experience in IT strategy and strategic planning, with a track record of aligning technology initiatives to long-term business goals.
Proven project management capabilities, including leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and delivering large-scale initiatives.
Extensive leadership experience in technology organizations, with the ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business language.
Experience in a remote or distributed work environment, with strong organizational and self-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent leadership experience is a plus.
Background in fast-paced, growth-oriented companies or startups is beneficial, as is familiarity with agile methodologies.
