AI Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space.
This role will focus on designing and deploying AI and ML solutions that transform unstructured data into practical, repeatable technical patterns. The position will support NLP, text analytics, and generative AI initiatives in a highly regulated environment, with close collaboration across security, governance, and AI oversight stakeholders. The work will emphasize safe implementation, traceability, and continuous improvement across cloud-based delivery environments.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $108,476 – $184,409 annually
Responsibilities
Develop NLP, text analytics, and human-in-the-loop workflows using approved AI/ML tools
Translate unstructured data use cases into repeatable technical patterns
Collaborate with Trustworthy AI, Security, and Data Governance teams to ensure safe generative AI capabilities
Apply prompt orchestration and retrieval patterns to support role delivery
Document work products and decisions to support traceability and continuous improvement
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, ML, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience
6+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise cloud environments
Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and NLP techniques
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and modern AI/ML libraries
