Senior Product Owner

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will drive delivery across data and billing initiatives, translating business needs into clear product requirements and coordinated execution. The Senior Product Owner will partner closely with Product Managers, peer Product Owners, and technical stakeholders to keep priorities aligned and releases on track. The ideal candidate brings strong platform and data fluency, with the ability to support UAT, validate outcomes, and help deliver incremental value in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead delivery for billing and data teams by managing backlogs and facilitating Agile ceremonies
Author detailed feature epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate releases against functional requirements
Coordinate release planning and manage internal rollout communications
Collaborate with peer Product Owners to manage cross-team dependencies
Partner with Product Managers to align tactical execution with business strategy
Define and validate Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that deliver incremental value
Qualifications
5+ years as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in platform or data-centric environments
Proven subject matter expert (SME) with technical depth in product features
Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and tools like BigQuery
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for UAT validation
Skilled in Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for product quality
Effective communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
